Carve and Contrast: Winter Sgraffito Plate Workshop

Two Sessions: Friday Nov. 6th, 5-7 pm and Saturday Nov. 7th, 1-4 pm

Carve bold, high contrast designs onto a handcrafted ceramic platter or plate in our Sgraffito workshop.

From slab to studio centerpiece, this two-part winter workshop takes you from raw clay to a finished Sgraffito masterpiece. On Friday, you will hand-build your custom plate or platter from a clay slab and practice carving techniques on a pre-made tile. Then, you will apply those honed skills to transfer, design, and carve striking, high-contrast winter motifs onto your master plate.

Level: no previous experience needed

Costs: $120 ($50 deposit to register)
